Home Things to do What's On

Celebrate with us in Eden on November 1 and 2, right when the Humpback Highway is full of hundreds of whales migrating south, right past our doorstep.

There are even more activities on this years program and dare we say it ”something to suit everyone!”.  The street parade will kick off Saturday’s BIG ONE on Nov 1 and will be back even bigger and better than ever, the festival markets will tantalise you tastebuds, your humour and your competitive streak.

Saturday afternoon at Snug Cove is a place to wander the markets, feast on local produce, see performances and enter competitions. You can try your hand at oyster shucking, capstan pull and whittling spoons to name a few. The evening will see the Whale Song gig return and feature headline acts from around the country and also showcase the best of the locals.

Check out the Eden Whale Festival web site for more details.

Dog Fest will be held in Ford Park, Merimbula from 9.30am on Sunday, 2 November with fun for all the family  including games, competitions, sausage sizzle, cake stall; and face painting. .
