A light aircraft landed without incident at Merimbula Airport after the plane's warning system notified the pilot of a mechanical problem with its landing gear.
The pilot of the private plane notified Merimbula Airport staff at about 4.30pm, Friday, May 4, that a warning light had indicated that one of the undercarriage wheels was not locked into position.
Emergency services were notified and were quickly on the scene as the plane came in to land.
The plane landed without incident and it is believed a faulty warning light may be to blame.
